Those in need of new and gently used winter outerwear, including coats and jackets, as well as boots, mittens, gloves, hats and scarves, are invited to shop for free during on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. at IMPACT Church, 101 E. First Ave., Parkesburg. The annual outreach program is sponsored by Parkesburg Churches Community Outreach (PCCO).

Anyone in the community is invited to visit the church that day to pick up the winterwear free of charge. Attendees do not have to provide proof of residency or income.

IMPACT Church volunteers will sort and display the items, as well as serve as greeters. The items will be sorted by size and gender. Clothing that is not distributed that day will be given to local charities.
