Church to host concert, art camp

St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 301 Saint Thomas Road, Lancaster, will host two upcoming events.

A Memorial Day weekend benefit concert will take place on Sunday, May 26, at 4 p.m. The concert will include music and dramatic readings of soldiers' letters to honor the fallen. Musical guests will include Maria Corley, Jeremiah Miller, Jay and Megan Poff, the Revs. Jennifer and Bradley Mattson, Cheryl Crider and others. A freewill offering will be received to support local outreach ministries. All are welcome.

Art camp will be offered on Monday, June 10, through Thursday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The free camp includes daily art, music, storytelling, STEAM activities and outside play exploring the themes of gratitude and creation. Children will also enjoy a daily morning snack and lunch. The artist-in-residence will be Sea Macleish, a local retired art teacher.
