Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, will host its Great Giveaway on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 8 a.m. to noon. Each year, the congregation donates thousands of items, including a large assortment of clothes, books, household items, and toys. The community is invited to take these items home, free of charge, and put them to good use. Items are not for resale.

Free hot dogs and beverages will be available while supplies last. Door prizes, including grocery gift cards and backpacks filled with school supplies, will be given away.
