Keyton's primary ministry focuses on rescuing Pygmies in the Democratic Republic of Congo from certain death. According to http://www.worshippingwarriorsfellowship.com, she has rescued more than 70,000 Pygmies, bought them land and built them villages in safer areas.

Keyton is the author of several books, including "Healing Scriptures" and "Heart and Soul Surrender." Her musical CD, "Heat and Soul Surrender Music," received nationwide airplay for three years.

Keyton travels the world preaching the gospel. She has been in 40 countries and five continents, ministering in arenas, churches, music halls, prisons, malls, parks, high schools, colleges, retreats, crusades, seminars, conferences, conventions, coffee houses and outdoor festivals.

Keyton's talk is being held in lieu of the church's Wednesday night Bible study.

New Beginnings Church of the Cross holds Sunday worship at 10 a.m. A free smorgasbord-style meal is served following the service.

A Christian open mic night is held at 6 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month. Along with hearing hymns and testimonies offered by members of the church, community members are also welcome to join in the program by singing or sharing their faith testimonies. All performances must be Christian-themed.

The gray, stone church is located between Newport Avenue and Pine Street, two blocks from the light at Route 41 and Pine Creek Drive.
