Ascension Lutheran Church, 600 E. Penn Grant Road, Willow Street, will host a patriotic concert on Wednesday, July 2, at 6:30 p.m.

The event will feature the Lampeter-Strasburg Community Band playing patriotic music and other selections, including "The Star-Spangled Banner," "Cole Porter Spectacular," "Blue Moon," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Singin' in the Rain," "Shostakovich Waltz No. 2," "Liberty Bell March," "Santana Medley," "Irish Medley," "Armed Forces - The Pride of America," and "God Bless America." The vocalist will be Clark Lash. The 45-member band is directed by music educator Howard Boots.
