First United Methodist Church, 64 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, is partnering with Tri-County Community Action to offer a poverty simulation at the church on Sunday, Oct. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The event is a role-playing experience designed to give participants a firsthand look at the challenges, decisions and life of someone experiencing poverty. This event is for adults and youths.
