Church To Install New Pastor

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Landisville will install the Rev. Timothy Seitz-Brown on Sunday, Dec. 4. Pastor Robin Fero, dean of the Lancaster Conference of the Lower Susquehanna Synod, will preside. The public is invited to attend.

The regular Sunday worship service will be held at 9 a.m., and the Rev. Richard Jorgensen, assistant to the bishop of the synod, will preach. Immediately following the service, there will be a brunch, followed by a community service project focusing on gratitude for the leadership in the Hempfield School District. The brief service of installation will conclude the morning's activities.

Seitz-Brown was called to serve Zion on June 5 after a lengthy call process. He is a graduate of Thiel College and the Lutheran Seminary of Philadelphia. He has served several congregations in southcentral Pennsylvania, both as a long-term pastor and as a transitional pastor. Additionally, he has ministered in Iraq and the Konde Diocese of Tanzania.

Seitz-Brown and his wife, Ann, are the parents of three adult children and are currently hosting a German exchange student.
