Church to offer free dinner

St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 27 E. Main St., Mount Joy, will serve a free meatloaf dinner on Sunday, Nov. 17. Meals will be available via curbside pickup at the rear of the church from 4 to 5 p.m. In addition to meatloaf, the meal will include oven-roasted potatoes, a vegetable, applesauce, a roll and butter and dessert.

Although there is no cost for the meal, reservations are required by noon on Monday, Nov. 11, by calling the church office at 717-653-5493, ext. 270. Callers should give their name with the correct spelling and the number of meals they are requesting.

St. Mark's has served a free Thanksgiving dinner for the past 19 years. However, the church has announced that it will not serve a Thanksgiving Day dinner this year.
