The Hershey Civil War Roundtable will meet on Thursday, Nov. 16, at Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 542, 8000 Derry St., Harrisburg, at 7:30 p.m. The presentation will also be livestreamed via Zoom and Facebook.

Mary Turk-Meena will present "The Leadership of Major General George Gordon Meade." Meade was ordered to take command of the Union Army of the Potomac on June 28, 1863, three days before the Battle of Gettysburg in the midst of a long losing streak. Turk-Meena will examine how Meade turned the army into a winner.
