The Hershey Civil War Roundtable will meet on Thursday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 542, 8000 Derry St., Harrisburg. The meeting will also be livestreamed via Zoom and Facebook Live.

Victor Vignola will present "Seven Pines - Fair Oaks: The Battle for Richmond (May 31 - June 1, 1862); Contrasts of Command." Vignola will explore how on May 31, 1862, Confederate forces overwhelmed the exposed IV Corps of the Army of the Potomac near a small crossroads known as Seven Pines.

The meeting is free and open to the public. All persons interested in the history of the Civil War are invited to attend.
