Class to focus on creating latte designs

Jeffrey Wetzel, owner of Mad Catter Coffee Roasters and a seasoned latte art competitor, will present a hands-on Latte Art Class for those who would like to create cafe-worthy latte art.

Attendees will learn steaming techniques and master the art of steaming milk to achieve the perfect silky microfoam. The class will also cover latte art basics, which is how to pour a tulip design, and build confidence in free-pour techniques. Participants will also get espresso machine experience by getting behind the bar and working with a real espresso machine to make and enjoy their own latte.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 5, at Lola Love Letter Creative Studio, located right below Trellis Marketplace, at 153 E. High St., Suite 102, in downtown Elizabethtown. The class will begin at noon. People may enjoy breakfast or lunch at Groovy Bean Cafe upstairs before or after class.

There will be a class fee. To register or for more information, visit http://www.eventbrite.com and search for "Latte Art: Learn to Create Beautiful Lattes with Mad Catter Coffee Roasters."
