Arts At Millersville Events Planned

The Arts at Millersville University Club 42 will welcome multi-Grammy nominee guitarist Stanley Jordan in concert on Saturday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be the season finale for the Club 42 Series. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

As part of an intimate evening in the club setting of the atrium at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster, Jordan will present a solo concert that will include a special guest, his Lancaster-based daughter, singer-songwriter Julia Jordan Kamanda.

Additionally, On Screen/In Person: Pizza, A Love Story has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, in the Ware Center's Steinman Hall. A panel discussion will take place at 6:15 p.m., with the screening at 7 p.m. There will be a post-show question-and-answer session with director Gorman Bechard, along with a pizza party. There is no cost to attend, but people should reserve tickets.

Family Fun Fest: SNAP will take place on Sunday, April 24, in Clair Hall at the Winter Center, 60 W. Cottage Ave., Millersville. Lobby activities will begin at 2 p.m., with the event at 3 p.m. Separate ticket prices have been set for adults, for students, and for Millersville University students.

The Erich Cadwalla Big Band will perform on Friday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the atrium at the Ware Center. Tickets are available for purchase.
