Club Holds Holiday Banquet, Food Drive

The Ephrata Cloister Toastmasters Club recently gathered for its annual holiday banquet and food drive at the Olde Lincoln House restaurant. The attendees enjoyed fellowship as they shared stories that inspired laughter and reflection. This year, proceeds from the food drive were donated to the Lititz Warwick Community Chest to support local needs.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. The Ephrata club is one of a worldwide network of more than 13,800 Toastmasters clubs in 150 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters has sought to help people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

The Ephrata Cloister Toastmasters Club meets every second and fourth Monday at 6:15 p.m. at the WellSpan Health Pavilion in Ephrata. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend a complimentary introductory meeting. For more information, call 717-715-9234.
