Club meeting to focus on The HUB

The Millersville Woman's Club will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 222 N. George St., Millersville. The program will feature Steve Gallion and Jacob Marino, board directors from The HUB. The HUB is a faith-based nonprofit organization located at 121 N. George St., Millersville. The organization supports Millersville University (MU) students by meeting their needs and building a community for them to feel safe in.

The HUB has a fully functioning food pantry that is open five days a week that offers groceries and hygiene products to MU students, as well as items for students with special dietary restrictions. A number of free meals are also provided each week. The HUB also partners with a local thrift store to provide MU students with free clothing. Many students come to the university having a real need for all of these services.

The HUB relies on the support and generosity of its donors and its many volunteers to carry out the various services it offers to students.

The Millersville Woman's Club supports The HUB by providing desserts at Thanksgiving for all the students who cannot leave the campus at that time.

The meeting is also the club's annual Men's Night. For more information about the program and the club, call 407-416-3231 or 717-917-6677.
