York Hiking Club will host a long hike on Sunday, Dec. 18. The 8- to 10-mile hike will travel the loop in Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Gardners, including Pole Steeple, Laurel Lake, the Civil War Explorers Camp, and Mountain Creek.

Hikers will meet at Woodberry Road at 8:30 a.m. or the Furnace Stack Pavilion parking lot at 9:30 a.m. There is a fee for those who carpool. For more information, call or text Gwen Loose at 717-891-9967 before 9:30 p.m.
