The Lower Swatara Lions Club has announced a food drive for the Middletown Food Bank. Club members will collect donations at the Lions building in Shopes Gardens at 2 Theodore Ave., Middletown, every Saturday in October from 8 a.m. to noon. All donated food must be nonperishable.

Additionally, a drive-through, pickup-only spaghetti dinner will take place on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Lions building in Shopes Gardens. The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs, a salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. There is a fee for the meal. Information about Lions club membership will be available at the event.
