Hershey Area Neighbors and Newcomers Club (HANNC) will meet at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8.

Sandy Lockerman will speak on the topic "Hummingbirds: Jewels of the Air." Lockerman will share information about hummingbirds' unique adaptations and the mysteries of their migrations. She will also provide updates on her ongoing involvement in a ruby-throated hummingbird project as well as the efforts being made to document Western hummingbird species that are visitors to Pennsylvania.
