Oct. 24. Art Class for Children

Village Library

207 N. Walnut St., Morgantown,1 p.m. Local artist Anna Carter will teach the Charlotte Mason art class. The course is geared toward prekindergarten and primary students. The class will be held every other month. No cost or registration is required, but there are only 20 spots available. Conestoga Mennonite Church

2779 Main St., Morgantown, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A program about North Star Initiative, a nonprofit organization that provides support and advocacy for survivors of human trafficking, will be presented. All local women are invited to attend the Christian fellowship group. Free child care is provided.

Oct. 31. Light the Night

Moving Communities to Christ (MCC) Church 

144 S. Walnut St., Birdsboro, 6 to 8 p.m. Children and caregivers may stop at the church and take a break from trick-or-treating to enjoy a free warm meal.
