May 9. Homeschool Group 

Honey Brook Community Library

687 Compass Road, Honey Brook, 12:30 p.m. The group will meet on Fridays through May 23. Students in kindergarten through grade six are invited to enjoy a variety of activities ranging from crafts to science projects. To register, email jojohnson@ccls.org or call 610-273-3303.

May 9 and 10. Book and Bake Sale

Village Library

121 North St., Morgantown. The sale will be open on May 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. and on May 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shoppers may fill a bag for a set price on May 10; bags will be provided. Baked goods will be available both days. Those who would like to donate baked goods may call the library for more details at 610- 286-1022.

May 11. Talk on Abigail Adams

Presented by the Friends of Hopewell Furnace

Hopewell Furnace Visitor Center Theater

2 Mark Bird Lane, Elverson, 2 p.m. Ilise Feitshans of Widener University will explores the reasons why Abigail Adams is often referred to as "America's Founding Mother." The program is free and open to the public.

May 17. Flower Sale, Soup Sale and Flea Market

St. John's Lutheran Church

1035 Old River Road (Robeson Township), Birdsboro, 8 a.m. to noon. For sale will be assorted annuals, perennials, herbs, containers and hanging baskets. There will also be a chance auction, soup sold by the quart and hot dogs and baked goods available for purchase.

May 17. Beginner Yoga

Honey Brook Community Library, 10:30 a.m. Registration is required. The class is limited to 10 people. The program is for adults age 18 and over. To register, call the library at 610-273-3303 or email fbaylis@ccls.org.
