March 18 and 25. Bible Study Group

Parkesburg Mennonite Church

44 E. Second Ave., Parkesburg, 10 to 11 a.m. The 11-week spring bible study will focus on I John. The topic on March 18 will be "An Introduction to I John."The topic on March 25 will be "Walking in the Light."Coffee and pastries will be provided.

March 21. Pancake Breakfast

Presented by the Parkesburg 250 Committee

Parkesburg VFW

406 W. Fourth Ave., 8 to 10 a.m. Breakfast will include all-you-can-eat fruit, bacon or sausage, coffee and tea and pancakes. A fee will be charged per person.

March 26. Watershed Program for Youths

Atglen Public Library

121 Main St., Atglen, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The program will include interactive games, a read-aloud of "Creek Critters," a children's book from the Stroud Water Research Center, and a discussion of the water cycle and the creatures that live in local streams. March 28. Book and Bake Sale

Parkesburg Free Library

105 West St., Parkesburg, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of adult fiction and children's books as well as baked goods for the sale will be accepted. Book donations can be dropped off at the library during regular business hours. To sign up to donate baked goods, stop in at the circulation desk at the library, call 610-857-5165 or send a Facebook message.

April 4. Bunny Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt

Penningtonville Presbyterian Church

406 Main St., Atglen. Breakfast, sponsored by the Parkesburg Lions Club, will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Registration is required by Saturday, March 28. Registration information is available at http://www.facebook.com/PenningtonvillePC in a post dated March 3. The Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the church, will begin at 11 a.m. No registration is required.

April 11. Knight at the Races Fundraiser

Our Lady of Consolation Church

Schneider Parish Center, 2995 Cemetery Road, Parkesburg. Doors will open at 6 p.m.; the first event will begin at 7 p.m. The admission fee includes food and beverages. Proceeds will benefit the local community. For more information, call event organizer Tom Henderson at 610-304-6546.
