March 6. Easy Walkers

Parkesburg Free Library

105 West St., Parkesburg, 9 to 10 a.m. The walking club is for those who just started a walking program or who want to walk at a slower pace. All are welcome. The group meets in the municipal lot across from the library.

March 10. Knitting Club

9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, 1:30 to 4 p.m. Knitters of all skill levels are welcome.

Fundraiser by the Life Teen youth group at Our Lady of Consolation Parish

March 14. Spring Fest

Presented by the Octorara Parent-Teach Organization

Octorara Primary Learning Center, 87 Highland Road, Atglen, 1 to 5 p.m. Featured will be a community yard sale and vendors, as well as rides and food. Visit the "Octorara PTO" Facebook page for more details or to rent a space.

March 15. "Soup for the Soul" Event

WordUP Ministries

160 Route 41, Gap. The event will take place at noon, right after the 10:45 a.m. service. Along with grilled cheese sandwiches, homemade soup will be offered, including tomato and vegetable. The event is free and open to the public. Those with questions may email buckmowday@gmail.com.

March 21. Pancake Breakfast

Presented by the Parkesburg 250 Committee

Parkesburg VFW, 8 to 10 a.m. Breakfast will include all-you-can-eat fruit, bacon or sausage, coffee and tea and pancakes. A fee will be charged per person.
