Voyage Mount Joy and the Mount Joy Borough Police Department will present Celebrate Spring Community Day at Little Chiques Park, located on Park Avenue, on Saturday, April 8, from 1 to 5 p.m.

The Mount Joy Borough Police Department will bring a cruiser to the event, and Fire Department Mount Joy will be on-site with a fire truck. Children may participate in a scavenger hunt through the park. Additionally, the first 50 children will receive Earth Day coloring and activity pages and be invited to plant flowers with Succulents by ShelNe.

Attendees may learn how to play disc golf using discs provided by Voyage Mount Joy, and a professional instructor will give a disc golf presentation at 1:30 p.m. The event will also include "How to Cast a Fishing Rod" by Kinsey's Outdoors at 1 p.m., Yoga in the Park offered by Soulful Yoga by Camille at 2 p.m., and a photo contest featuring a well-known local owl. Food will be available from Centerville Diner 2.
