Lisburn Community Fire Company, 1800 Main St., Mechanicsburg, will host Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The touch-a-truck event will feature a variety of vehicles from fire trucks to construction vehicles.

Children can decorate pumpkins, have their faces painted, and watch a karate demonstration. There will be vendors in the social hall, and lunch items will be available for purchase, including sandwiches, snacks, apple cider, milkshakes, and soup. At 11 a.m., public safety demonstrations will take place on the band stand. Veterans and public safety officers will be honored at noon.
