Christ United Methodist Church Yorkana, 5 Main St., Yorkana, will host its annual Community Family Fun Day on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 3 to 8 p.m., rain or shine. The event will feature activities, homemade food and drinks, and music.

A host of games will be available. Children may play carnival games to earn prize tickets, which may be redeemed at the prize table until 6:30 p.m. The event will also include old-fashioned games, a bounce house for young children, a defender inflatable for teens and young adults, 9 Square in the Air, and gaga ball.

Charming Balloons will be on-site from 5 to 7 p.m. Ponies will be available to ride and pet from 3 to 5 p.m., and children may also take rides on tractors and view a fire truck. Giant bubbles and sensory bins will be available for young children.

Activities in the main tent will include music by the praise team at 3:30 p.m. and by the Christ Church Trio at 5 p.m., bingo at 4:30 p.m. and from 6 to 7 p.m., and a dessert auction at 5:30 p.m.

Cupcake decorating in the social hall and a dunk tank will be available for a fee. All other activities, music, and inflatables are free of charge.
