Community health presentations set

UPMC in Central Pennsylvania will host a series of community health presentations this spring, virtually and in-person throughout the region. Light refreshments or dinner will accompany in-person events. For virtual presentations, participants simply need a computer or smart device with internet access to take part.

UPMC experts will discuss a variety of health topics. In-person events will include "Keep the Beat: Atrial Fibrillation and Stroke" on Thursday, March 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Hershey Lodge, 325 University Drive, Hershey; "Know Your Numbers" on Thursday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. at UPMC Outpatient Center, 121 Towne Square Drive, Hershey; and "The Forgotten Heart Valves: Mitral and Tricuspid" on Wednesday, April 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Hershey Country Club, 1000 E. Derry Road, Hershey.

Also, "HPV and the Rise in Head and Neck Cancer" on Tuesday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. at UPMC Community Osteopathic, 4300 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg, with a virtual option available; "What You Need to Know About Vascular Disease" on Tuesday, May 2, at 6 p.m. at UPMC Memorial, 1703 Innovation Drive, York, with a virtual option available; "How Lifestyle Choices Can Lower Your Weight" on Tuesday, May 16, at 6 p.m. at UPMC Lititz, 1500 Highlands Drive, Lititz; and "Managing your Migraines and Headaches" on Tuesday, June 6, at 6 p.m. at Lisa's Cafe on Chocolate at the Hershey Story Museum, 63 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey.

Two virtual events will also be offered. "Kick the Knee Pain" will be held on April 18 at 6 p.m., and "Stroke Prevention: Know and Understand Your Numbers" will be held on Tuesday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m.
