Community UMC Sets Ice Cream Social, Concert

Community United Methodist Church (UMC), 130 Tennyson Drive, Lancaster, will hold an ice cream social and a concert by the Lampeter-Strasburg Community Band on Friday, July 22, at 7 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an ice cream sundae while listening to selections including "The Dauntless Battalion," "Battle Cry of Freedom," "Blue Moon" featuring low brass soloist Ivy Kalin, "Uncle Henry," "God Bless the USA," selections from "West Side Story" and "Chicago," "America the Beautiful," "God Bless America," Beethoven's "Pathetique Adagio," and "National Emblem March."
