Concert to feature college musicians

Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, will showcase student musicians from Elizabethtown College in its Starlight Tea Concert Series on Saturday, April 5, at 7 p.m.

The students, who were chosen by audition, will represent multiple majors. Their instruments include the violin, piano, clarinet, marimba, flute, and voice.

The concert choir will begin with a piece written by Canadian composer Eleanor Daley. Other works for voice will include selections from the classic musical "West Side Story," along with arias and art songs. Also included will be instrumental works by Francis Poulenc, Aaron Copland, and others, as well as compositions from the musicals "Newsies" and "Honeymoon in Vegas."

The soloists are Isabelle Bright, Connor Deah, Zachary Deah, Brynn Donoff, Ryley Douglass, Hannah Fletcher, Emily Harrell, Helen Hostetter, Lila Hughes, Gabriella Lozada, Aaron Oliver, Olivia Pituch, and Gia Solito. The piano accompanists are Audrey Bower, Mary Ellen DeWitt, Anne Gross, and Debra Ronning.
