Concert To Raise Funds For Children

Nehemiah Philippines, a nonprofit based in Manila, Philippines, will hold a benefit concert at Tellus360, 24 E. King St., Lancaster, on Thursday, June 23, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The concert will feature three musical acts from Pennsylvania and neighboring states: J-Tyme Family Band, St. Eloise, and 3rd Power Family Soul. The performers will present bluegrass, pop, jazz, R&B, and soul.

Nehemiah Philippines exists to give children a chance to rebuild their lives after living on the street. The organization seeks to accomplish this mission through providing a Christ-centered home, health care, nutrition, and education. Tickets can be purchased by visiting http://www.eventbrite.com and searching for "Nehemiah Benefit Concert," or they may be purchased at the door. People under age 21 are welcome to attend until 9 p.m., and they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 25 years old. Starting at 9 p.m., the event will be open only to those age 21 and up.
