Concerts To Focus On Songs Of Faith

LeeP Productions will present "Then Sings My Soul: Beloved Hymns & Songs Inspired by the Ministry of Billy Graham" at locations across central Pennsylvania and beyond throughout 2021.

"Then Sings My Soul" is an original musical presentation that features professional vocalists and accompanists from the Lancaster area. The cast includes Bryson Buffington, Sarah Poague, Kat Prickett and Ric Zimmerman. Seventeen-year-old New Holland-area resident Katrina King is the pianist.

"Then Sings My Soul" includes a look at the history behind over 30 well-known hymns and songs of faith, many of which were made famous by, or written by people who accepted Jesus at, Billy Graham's Crusades. Selections include "How Great Thou Art," "I'd Rather Have Jesus," "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" and "Amazing Grace." The show also includes an old-fashioned hymn sing.

In May, the cast performed at Dollywood Theme Park and the DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., as a part of the Inspiring Spring Concert Series. A 30-minute version of the program was presented 14 times to over 1,100 people.

"Then Sings My Soul" premiered in August 2018 in a barn at Prickett's family business, The Red Caboose Motel & Restaurant in Ronks. It has since toured across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Tennessee. More than 6,500 people have attended this program, with countless others experiencing it online.
