After skipping a year of vacation Bible school (VBS) due to COVID-19, Conestoga United Methodist Church (UMC), 71 Sand Hill Road, Conestoga, will hold a "Discovering Jesus" VBS on Monday to Friday, July 19 to 23, at 6:30 p.m. The program is for children ages 5 to 12, and participants are encouraged to bring their friends.

The VBS will include Bible stories, songs, crafts, games and snacks. Each child will receive a pair of sunglasses on the first day, and there will be an opportunity each day subsequent day to win a prize for memorizing a Bible verse. On Friday, the game time will include water games, weather permitting. Representatives of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) make up the VBS leadership team.
