The Coterie Club of Lancaster will hold a general meeting and luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m. at the Lancaster Tennis & Yacht Club, 2615 Columbia Ave., Lancaster.

The guest speaker will be Julie Henning, the adopted daughter of famous writer Pearl S. Buck. The club will also hold a book sale to raise money for a local charity.

There will be a fee for the meal.
