Wayne and Mary Lou Jenkins Lawton recently celebrated their 65th anniversary. The couple was married at the Free Methodist Church in Aurora, Colo., on Sept. 4, 1958.

In celebration of their anniversary, Wayne and Mary Lou purchased commemorative coffee mugs for their grandchildren. The mugs have the Lawtons' wedding photo and date on one side and a recent photo of them on the other side.

Wayne and Mary Lou have two daughters, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The Lawtons enjoy reading the Bible, praying and singing together.

They minister at Cedar Hill Community Church in Elizabethtown.
