Cub Scout Pack 47 of Manheim will hold a Community Night on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Scout Hall, located between North Hazel and North Linden streets in Manheim, behind Baron Elementary School. The rain date will be Tuesday, Aug. 16.

The event will include a bounce house and lawn games. Attendees may purchase pulled pork, pulled brisket, or pulled chicken sandwiches, plus hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs along with sides from Keller BBQ and Concessions. KC Mini-donuts will also be available for purchase. The Cub Scout pack will provide popcorn, cotton candy and water ice.

Attendees may also meet members of Pack 47 and find out more about Scouting in the Manheim community. Pack 47 welcomes girls and boys in kindergarten to fifth grade. Cub Scouting is a family-focused organization.

For families interested in joining Pack 47, a parents-only sign-up night will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. Leaders will be available to answer questions and assist with the sign-up process.
