Cub Scout Pack 148 of New Holland recently held its Pinewood Derby race. The Cub Scouts received their wood blocks during the holidays and turned them into racing cars with a variety of designs, such as an ice cream truck, a sunken ship, and a hedgehog.

The winners were Abram G., first place; Caleb G., second place; Mitchell B., third place; Emery L., slowpoke; and Jaxsen K., Best of Show.
