Cub Scout Pack 97 in Londonderry Township will hold its annual open house on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Scout Complex, 1831 Felker Road, Middletown. The event is open to boys going into kindergarten through fifth grade, and parents or adult caregivers should plan on staying at the event.

The open house will feature an opening flag ceremony, backyard bass fishing, games, and refreshments. Scout leaders will be available to answer questions, and membership applications will be available. Boys do not need to reside in Londonderry Township to join the pack.

The Scouts had a busy summer, which included a hike at Gifford Pinchot State Park; a campfire and campout at the Scout Complex; a trip to the Lancaster Science Factory; and the Wolf, Bear and Webelos dens' attending summer camp at Camp Tuckahoe. In August, the pack planned to attend the Harrisburg Senators Scout Night game and go on a bike hike.
