The Conestoga Valley High School boys' basketball team is planning a community service project called "Hoodies 4 Homeless." "We are looking for new or gently used hoodies," said head coach Jim Shipper.

Community members are invited to drop off hoodies at CVHS' Rill Gymnasium on Horseshoe Road, Lancaster, on game nights: the tip-off tournament on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 10 and 11, featuring Warwick, Cocalico, Bermudian Springs, and CVHS; Tuesday, Dec. 14, against Cocalico; and Friday, Dec. 17, against Elizabethtown. There is also a collection bin at Spooky Nook Sports, 75 Champ Blvd., Manheim.

"All sweatshirts will be hand delivered to homeless centers on Dec. 18," Shipper said. "We wanted to find a way to give back and help those in need."
