After previously being named finalists, Decades working partners Chris Trendler, operations manager, and Jonathan Yeager, design and development manager, won the 2024 Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA) Rising Star Award on Oct. 28 at the Kalahari Resort Poconos.

There were 12 award categories, with the Rising Star Award honoring emerging leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry who demonstrate ongoing exceptional growth, notable industry involvement and strong leadership. The award was presented to Trendler and Yeager during a special Awards Gala where the 11 other award winners were announced in various categories.

Other members of the Decades team who attended the Awards Gala were Tony Gorick, sales and marketing manager, and Zach Fortunato, general manager.
