Senior Commons at Powder Mill, 1775 Powder Mill Road, York, will offer a free and confidential dementia care support group on Thursday, May 18, at 6 p.m.

Over time, caregiving can strain a person's physical and emotional well-being. Caregivers can also develop compassion fatigue, becoming overwhelmed by exposure to the trauma of others. During the upcoming meeting, Barbra Kefalas from Gentiva Hospice will explain the warning signs and steps that caregivers can use to help themselves.
