EAHS to host Veterans Day ceremony

Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS), 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown, will host a Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, Nov. 10, at 10:15 a.m. in the auditorium. The event is an opportunity for students to learn about the significance of Veterans Day and for the community to show its support and appreciation for those who have served in the military.

The ceremony will include the presentation of colors by the high school's Navy National Defense Cadet Corps Color Guard, the national anthem performed by the school's marching band, student readings and reflections on Veterans Day, the reading of a proclamation by Elizabethtown Borough Mayor Chuck Mummert and recognition of local veterans. The guest speakers will be Terry Seiders, school board president, and Karen Nell, superintendent of schools.

All veterans and their family members are invited to attend.
