Educational Programs for Seniors Posted

Quest for Learning Lancaster has announced its fall 2025 programs. Sessions will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 31 S. Duke St., Lancaster, on Thursday mornings from Sept. 25 through Oct. 30.

Quest for Learning is a nonprofit run entirely by volunteers that has offered educational programs to people of retirement age in Lancaster for almost 50 years. Sessions will be presented by local experts in their fields.

The eight programs that will be offered are "The 19th Annual Richard Keller Memorial Series"; "The Making of Film Classics," presented by Millersville University faculty; a Short Story Discussion Group; "Lancaster African American History"; "Historical Trees of Lancaster County"; "Animal Behavior and Ecology: Timing, Place, and How We Know What We Know"; "Backstage With the Lancaster Symphony," presented by Lancaster Symphony Orchestra staff, musicians, and community partners; and "An Archeological Quest to Understand New World Slavery."

Two 50-minute sessions will take place each Thursday, one at 9:40 a.m. and one at 11 a.m., with a coffee and cookie break in between.

There is a fee, which covers the cost of the entire series. For more information or to register, visit http://www.questlancaster.org.
