Egg Hunt for Pups scheduled

Humane Pennsylvania will host its second annual Egg Hunt for Pups at the Lancaster Center for Animal Life-Saving, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, on Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the animals in Humane Pennsylvania's care.

Dogs and caretakers may enjoy time outside in the fenced-in areas behind the facility sniffing out treat-filled and prize-filled Easter eggs. In addition to the egg hunt, Humane Pennsylvania merchandise and giveaway drawing tickets will be available for purchase. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Thirty-minute time slots will be scheduled for groups of 10 dogs according to size. There is a fee per dog. Preregistration is required at http://www.humanepa.org. In the case of rain, the event will take place on Sunday, March 24.
