Eicher Arts Center to kick off 2024 concerts

The Joe Lerman Show will be featured at the Eicher Arts Center, 409 Cocalico St., in Ephrata Borough's Grater Park on Friday, Feb. 9. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and Lerman and his band will play from 7 to 9 p.m. This event will be the first live musical program of 2024 at the Eicher Arts Center.

Lerman and his band will play hit rock and country songs from throughout the decades. The group has been performing for years through Lancaster, Berks and Lebanon counties, including a concert at the Eicher Arts Center last March.

There will be a cover charge. Refreshments will be available from TMD's Traveling Bar and Brewster's Bar B Que.

The Eicher Arts Center Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was started by community volunteers in the 1980s after the Eicher House was in danger of being razed. The building originally had been constructed as a farmhouse for the Eicher family in the 1700s. The Eicher Arts Center volunteers worked with Ephrata Borough to transform the historic structure into a venue for public entertainment and cultural events as well as private gatherings.
