Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer a few upcoming events. Activities are free and open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number in case the program is canceled.

The center will offer a bug hotel craft for children of all ages on Saturday, July 15, at 1 p.m. Participants will make a handmade shelter to protect insects.

A sunrise hike will step off at 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 22.

A fairy scavenger hunt program, consisting of a story and a scavenger hunt, will occur on Sunday, July 23, at 1:30 p.m. Attendees may attend in a fairy outfit. There is a fee per child.
