EPHS announces upcoming programming

The East Petersburg Historical Society (EPHS) has announced its speaker programs for 2024. Historians will explore topics relating to East Petersburg's history and people. The EPHS welcomes everyone to attend.

Special guest speakers are scheduled on the first Mondays of March, April, May, June and October. The programs are held at 7 p.m. at the East Petersburg Community Center Building at East Petersburg Community Park, 6051 Pine St., East Petersburg. The event on Oct. 7 will feature a program about the history of East Petersburg Bulldogs youth football presented by Garry Fuhrman and John Mattern.

EPHS will hold an Apple Festival at the Daniel Wolf House Museum, located at 1905 State St., East Petersburg, on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The museum will be open during the event.

In addition, the Daniel Wolf Museum is open to the public on the first Saturday of every month throughout the year from 9 a.m. to noon.
