Event Set for Girls and Women With Disabilities

Pennsylvania Miss Amazing will host AMPLIFY, an empowerment and leadership event for girls and women with disabilities from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12, at West Chester University's Sykes Student Union, 110 W. Rosedale Ave., West Chester. For participants, the event will begin at 10 a.m., and for spectators, the event will start at 4 p.m. In addition, giveaway drawings, merchandise, and flower sales will open at 2:30 p.m.

AMPLIFY is designed to elevate voices, build confidence, and create space for participants to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Through a pageant-style program that includes an onstage introduction, a passion presentation, and a formal wear event, participants will have opportunities to express themselves, build confidence, and share what matters most to them.

The event will bring together participants, volunteers, and community members who are committed to disability inclusion and representation. AMPLIFY reflects Pennsylvania Miss Amazing's ongoing mission to provide meaningful opportunities that foster confidence, independence, and self-advocacy for individuals with disabilities.

The event is free for participants. Community members may purchase tickets, donate, or become sponsors. For more details, visit http://pa.missamazing.org. Information about AMPLIFY and Pennsylvania Miss Amazing is available by contacting pa@missamazing.org.

Pennsylvania Miss Amazing is part of the national Miss Amazing organization, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls and women with disabilities through confidence-building programs, leadership opportunities, and inclusive community experiences.
