People age 45 and older are invited to a '60s to '80s Nostalgia Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 17. The event will be held at 7 p.m. at 505 N. Fourth St. Extended, Wrightsville.

The party will feature music from DJ Patrick Young. Light refreshments will be provided. A freewill offering will be received, with proceeds benefiting Evolve Life Group, which is hosting the event.

Evolve Life Group began in September 2023 with approximately 10 members, and it now numbers more than 85 people. The purpose of the group is to bring adults together for fun and fellowship. Activities have included community service with Unto and Servants Inc., an escape room, and a family pool party. Upcoming events include a visit to Sickman's Mill and the Evolve Amazing Race.
