"Explore His Creation" Family VBS Set

Grace Baptist Church of York, 3920 E. Prospect Road, York, will offer its inaugural family vacation Bible school (VBS), "Explore His Creation," on Sunday to Wednesday, Aug. 1 to 4.

Mike Snavely, "the Dinosaur Guy," will present a unique look at nature through the lens of the Bible. The journey will begin with creation and the flood, and then participants will learn about some creatures that God created.

The schedule will be as follows: Aug. 1 at 8:15 or 10:45 a.m., "Genesis"; Aug. 1 at 9:30 a.m., "The Flood"; Aug. 1 at 6:30 p.m., "Hunters vs. Hunted"; Monday, Aug. 2, at 6 p.m., "That's Impossible"; Tuesday, Aug. 3, at 6 p.m., "Spiders"; and Aug. 4 at 6 p.m., "Dinosaurs."

Since this is a family VBS, an adult must attend with the children they bring. There will be no child drop-offs. The presentations and activities are geared for the entire family. Nursery care will be provided for children under 2 years of age, and a prekindergarten room will be available for those ages 2 to 4.

Participation is free. To register children, visit http://www.gracebaptistyork.com. Adults attending without children do not need to register.
