EYRA posts sports, line dancing programs

Registration for the spring softball and baseball programs will be available at http://www.easternyorkrec.com. until Thursday, Feb. 8.

Softball programs are available for children and youths ages 4 to 18; age is determined as of Jan. 1. Fees are based on residency, age level and uniform needs. Home games and practices are typically held in Hellam and Lower Windsor townships, and the season runs from April to July.

Baseball programs are available for those ages 5 to 19; age is determined as of May 1. Fees are based on age level and residency. Home games and practices are typically held in Hallam and Craley, and the season runs from March to June.

A Country Line Dance Beginner Workshop will be offered on Mondays, March 11 to April 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the social hall at the Lower Windsor Township Administrative Building, 2425 Craley Road, Wrightsville. This activity is for people age 12 and up, and no experience is necessary. Lessons will consist of basic instruction with the goal of teaching a few choreographed dances. Step sheets will be available for continued learning. To register by Friday, March 1, visit the aforementioned website.
