The New Holland Farmers Fair Association will hold an ice cream social on Saturday, June 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hart Pavilion at New Holland Park on East Jackson Street. The event will be held rain or shine, and everyone is welcome. Ice cream will be provided by Yoder's Country Market.

The social will give members of the public an opportunity to meet the board members of the association, which organizes and runs the annual New Holland Fair. In turn, the board members want to meet members of the community that they serve, inform attendees of what goes into holding the fair and share information about the special events scheduled for 2022, the 90th year of the fair.

The board also hopes to enlist volunteers. Opportunities include monitoring the exhibit areas, helping with new registrations, entering the exhibits in their departments and helping with lineups for the Spectacle of Bands and pet and baby parades.
