Fairmount Sets Author Talk And Book Signing

Miriam Auker, co-author of John Hostetler's memoir, "Looking Back," will hold an author talk and book signing at Fairmount on Friday, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. The event will be held in the Farm Crest Community Room Chapel at 1100 Farm Crest Drive on the east side of the Fairmount campus.

Hostetler, who passed away in June 2020, had a 50-year career at Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), most notably as director of material aid. In his younger years, he lived for a time in Germany, where he met and married his wife, Kathy. After his retirement, he spent another 20 years as a volunteer for MCC.

Auker will be on hand to sign books, which will be available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Reservations are requested by calling 717-354-1893.
